Lilac Wedding

In June we had some incredible vendors and models come together for a beautiful lilac styled shoot. We battled the rain, some of the highest humidity levels I have ever photographed in, and of course, being Texas Summer, it was HOT!!! But you would never know all of that from how gorgeous the photos turned out and how amazingly well Brittney Minor’s make up skills held strong all day!

Brittney Minor is our favorite Make Up Artist and she always does an amazing job! I was blow away by how well her make up lasted through the intense heat and humidity. We also had an amazing Hairstylist, Annette, and she not only styled the hair but created the hairpieces by hand. You can see more of her work at Annette’s Masterpieces.

Now I have to say probably my favorite thing about this styled shoot was the amazing flower arrangements by Cleburne Floral. They have worked with us before and always create amazing things that Wow our brides! I love everything they do and even if you just need a quick gift for a friend, they have an amazing gift shop and always something new in their windows.

For our styled shoot they put together two trellises, an altarpiece, and a couple of bouquets!

Our Models, Jane Likes Poptarts and Alex Ripley Lisak killed it! They had worked on the same set before but had never modeled together and having that friendship beforehand definitely helped these photos pop. Jane is wearing a gorgeous gown provided by Brides and Beyond . They were such an integral part of this styled shoot and I don’t know if it would have gone one without them!

And for a special little surprise at the end, we had Love Bucket Drinkery pull up in their lovely bar cart!
