Snow in Texas

Its unusual for us to get a really good snow that sticks in Texas, but here we are in February looking at the possibility of a Second Snowfall! It already feels like the arctic blast is here, but I know it has only just begun and “Winter is [Truly] Coming”. Here are some photos I took in January when we got some snow and even though I’m a much bigger fan of the Sunshine… I will always be excited when it snows.

But of course because a snow day is such a rare event, it is hard to get a model last minute and I had my husband take a few photos of me in my wedding dress. It was definitely a feat to squeeze into it while in my car with the heat on full blast and I could only be out in the cold for about 15-20 min before going back and thawing out and going back out again! I think it was totally worth the freezing cold though.
